Tween Advisory Group (TWEEN)

Love the library? Have ideas to make it more tween-friendly? Want to meet other like-minded kids? Then join our new TWEEN Advisory Group!

Our Tween Advisory Group is for kids in grades 5 – 7 who want to join forces with the library and other like-minded kids to make an impact! We will meet once a month on Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00pm.

What can I expect in TWEEN?

• Meet every month in person at NVDPL Capilano Branch
• Brainstorm ideas for tween programs and events
• Update and maintain any Tween Book Displays
• Participate in fun games and activities
• Welcome guest speakers from other community groups and organizations
• Be a positive library influencer
• And more!

Call the Capilano Branch library to register your tween! (Please note: Tweens must be in grades 5 -7 at the time of registration.)

Notes & Requirements

TWEEN meets on the second Wednesday each month from January - June.
