Event Description
Leading up to Emergency Preparedness Week (May 4-10), we invite you to a session that provides valuable information on how to be better prepared during an earthquake or other emergency. You'll gain insight into the hazards specific to the North Shore, learn how to create an emergency plan, and discover how to assemble an emergency kit or grab-and-go bag. Additionally, we'll cover how to apply FireSmart principles to enhance the wildfire resilience of your property and neighbourhood.
This session is presented in partnership with North Shore Emergency Management (www.nsem.ca) and the District of North Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services (@DNVFRS).
Registration is encouraged but not required. Drop ins are welcome! Register to receive event updates and reminders.
