In preparation for Earth Day, join Biologist David Cook for a talk about the old-growth forests of the North Shore.
You’ll learn where to find old-growth forests, how to identify them and what makes them so unique and important. We'll also discuss threats to these forests, including disease, climate change and logging.
Old-growth forests are essential for human health. Did you know many medicines come from plants in these forests?
